Joe Stone is the alter ego of Maurice Oude Booyink, a dance maverick making club waves for quite some years, joined in the studio by Mark Simmons (known for his 2006 Beatfreakz project, claiming two top 10 singles in the UK with ‘Somebody’s Watching Me’ and ‘Superfreak’). Joe Stone’s high energy, deep house take on this 90s dance classic has made a big impact since its premiere online via Spinnin‘ Records. ‚The Party‘ picked up huge early support from influential DJs including Oliver Heldens, Martin Garrix and BBC Radio 1’s own Danny Howard and Pete Tong. On the live circuit, the record is taking on a life of its own, picking up spins from Calvin Harris, The Magician and label mate Sam Feldt to name a few.
