About

International One UP is a 1-component primer/undercoat, which is suitable for subsequent overcoating with single component finishes and deck paints. It is a simple and effective paint which replaces Yacht Primer and Pre-Kote, achieving aesthetic appearance and substrate protection.

Features

• International One UP is suitable for use above the waterline/is not suitable for permanently immersed surfaces
• Substrate: suitably prepared aluminium/zinc-galvanised steel, cast iron, GRP/FRP, lead, steel, wood
• Not suitable for aluminium propellers
• Application method: brush, roller
• Practical coverage: 9m²/litre
• Recommended no. of coats: 2 to 4
• Touch dry: 1 hr to 6 hrs (temperature dependent)
• Hard dry: 2.5 hrs to 12 hrs (temperature dependent)
• Sandable: 8 hrs to 36 hrs (temperature dependent)
• Overcoat time: minimum 3 hrs to 24 or 30 hours; maximum 5 days to 1 month (product and temperature dependent)
