One day I was cycling cross country to Barcombe when I saw this drama unfold.  The heron was oblivious to my presence as it was thrashing about in a stream with something sinuous.  I'm 99% sure it was an eel. 

Woodblock (plywood); each one hand printed on Conqueror laid vellum block printing paper with black linseed oil based relief printing ink, then mounted with card.   Unframed card mount 46cm x 38cm (aperture 25.5cm x 25.5cm) Printed image size 30.5cm x 30.5cm (signed under mount).
