Antique 18th Century Pair English George III Mahogany Cutlery or Knife Boxes - Original Interior Compartment. c1780.
This pair have the typical shape of boxes from this period, with shaped serpentine front and sloped hinged lid. They retain their original pierced, inlaid and fret-carved liners for cutlery and also their original lock plates (no keys).
In great condition, one box does have a small crack on front by lock.
