Ceramic bowl with a traditional pattern native to the city of Gijduvan in Uzbekistan. Said to represent the colours of water, sun, sky and earth, Gijduvan potters use the green-brown ground of the pieces to “speak” the natural colours of the region in the language of art. Each foodsafe bowl is made by hand using ancient methods passed down in the Narzullaev family over three centuries.
